My name is Jack Bryson, and I was born and raised in Derbyshire. After finishing school, I moved to Nottingham to study design and later began working in the photo processing industry. Throughout the years, I nurtured my passion for photography, taking evening classes to develop and refine my skills.
Many years on, I rediscovered photography — not just as a creative outlet but as a powerful tool for supporting my mental health and overcoming addiction. It has become a way for me to reconnect with the world around me, helping me to appreciate the beauty of life and the people I meet along the way.
Through my work, I aim to capture and celebrate diverse cultures while using photography as a platform to highlight important social issues, including racism, poverty, and inequality. For me, photography is more than just taking pictures — it’s a way of understanding the world and contributing, in my own way, to making it a better place.
